Samsung gets nod to test autonomous cars on public roads

Get some latest news about Samsung autonomous cars.  Samsung got approval to test its self-driving cars on public roads of South Korea. Today, the country’s Land Ministry gave the nod for a test run. Until now, the Samsung was testing its autonomous car technology on a modified race track. But now, it has shifted to public roads.

As per a report released by South Korea, “Samsung Electronics also plans to introduce top-of-the-line sensors, computer modules, supported by artificial intelligence and the deep-learning technologies to improve cars’ self-driving capabilities, even in challenging weather conditions.”

The firm is currently using a Hyundai car (having the latest cameras and sensors) as a prototype vehicle. Like Google and Apple, the company, Samsung has confirmed it that they have no plans to get into the car manufacturing industry.
