Price
The UK price of the Honor View 10 is £449, making it the same as the base OnePlus 5T, and £70 more than the Honor 9 retailed for at launch.
It will go on sale in the UK on 8 January 2018. It will also be available in France, Germany, India, Italy, U.S.A, Spain and Russia at this time.
Design and body

The Honor View 10 looks like a lot of other premium phones this year, sporting an 18:9 display. First seen on the LG G6 and then the Samsung Galaxy S8, the form factor keeps the View 10 slim and manageable in the hand while adding some height to the screen.
This is the same aspect ratio as the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, yet there’s a front-placed fingerprint sensor and headphone jack like on the Mate 10. Confused? It means you get the better 18:9 display size with the familiar fingerprint sensor and headphone jack. This means the View 10 has an excellent mix of features from both versions of Huawei’s recent flagship.

The back of the phone is less exciting, with iPhone-sequel antenna lines at the top and bottom, with a solitary Honor logo and dual rear cameras. Squint, and the View 10 resembles an iPhone 7 Plus with a bigger screen running Android.
With no glass back, there’s no chance of wireless charging, though that is still a non-essential feature that would have increased the price.
The Honor View 10 is alarmingly thin at 6.97mm and recalls the Apple of a few years ago that became obsessed with this measurement, to the detriment of build quality and Bendgate.
If you’re on a budget, this is as premium a device as you’ll get for the price – even undercutting the £449 OnePlus 5T while pretty much matching the specs.

It’s available in midnight black and navy blue, but isn’t as notably stunning as other flagships this year, or even compared to the older glass-backed Honor 9. It looks very similar to the 8 Pro.
Camera

The Huawei Honor View 10 has a dual camera consisting of a 20MP monochrome lens and a 16MP RGB lens. For ultimate performance, there are two independent Image Signal Processors.

The AI component takes smartphone photography to a new level with real-time scene and object recognition. The cameras recognize ten different types of objects and scenes including food, text, sunsets, dogs, cats, snow, flowers, blue sky and beaches. The intelligent photography algorithms then adjust the settings for you, giving you pro results without the need for a pro mode.
The AI element is so fast that it can recognize 33 images per second, which compares to 16 images per second on the iPhone X and just 2 images per second on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

AI Motion Detection configures the camera and predicts how objects will move in the scene and AI Zoom ensures clarity with intelligent detail enhancement.
AI Portrait Mode in Honor View 10
The 13MP selfie camera has an AI powered Portrait Mode with semantic segmentation. This gives sharper portrait edges and more accurate background blur. You can even separate two people in group selfies for an accurate bokeh effect.
With the AI Portrait Mode, you can change the background of your selfie so that you can appear on social media in London for breakfast and then appear in New York for tea.
Battery Life of Honor View 10

The 3,750mAh battery performs extremely well giving up to 160 hours of music playback or up to 5.5 hours of gaming, 21 hours of internet browsing, 19 hours of video playback or up to 23 hours of talk time.
Smart Power Management learns from your usage behaviors to ensure the phone gets through the day. You can take control yourself and switch between Normal, Gaming and Power Saving modes.
With Honor Supercharge you can get back to 50% charge in just 30 minutes.
Software of Honor View 10

Software could be what lets this phone down if you’re not a fan of Honor (and Huawei’s) EMUI skin. Granted, EMUI 8.0 is a lot better than previous iterations, but the changes it makes to stock Android don’t always make a lot of sense. Intuitive actions from stock are overlaid with different actions and icons, while the notification shade is still a bit of a mess.
Yet it is based on Android Oreo 8.0, and remains an excellently affordable way to get your hands on an OS running Google’s latest software.

Despite running incomplete software, Honor View 10 feels speedy, both in terms of its casual use roaming about through the system menus, as well as playing games and experimenting with different camera modes. Speaking of which there are many included in this awesome phone.
Those in need of performance shouldn’t doubt the V10, as it will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage – complete with the ability to accept microSD storage. But again, we weren’t able to put it to task properly as it wasn’t running final software.
Given that the View 10 aims to be “your first AI phone”, you’d expect it to incorporate artificial intelligence into the experience, and it does appear to, at least on paper. Like it did with the Huawei Mate 10, Honor’s latest teams up with Microsoft Translate to live translate languages up to 300% faster than other phones without an NPU. We’ll see how much further Honor can take its AI, but as of right now, it doesn’t seem to stand the phone apart.
The phone’s dual-lens rear camera consisting of a 20MP monochrome and 16MP RBG lenses pack in a bunch of modes, but the most tantalizing is its wide virtual aperture, which can shoot in a range of F/.9 to F/16.

You’ll also see the View 10’s smarts put to use in the front-facing and dual-rear cameras. It can automatically detect objects, then toggle settings to show them in the best light. Things like text, food and human faces can be recognized, taking the normal auto mode to the next level. Most tantalizing is its wide virtual aperture mode, which can shoot in a simulated range of F/.9 to F/16.
Competitors
They include, Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, Lenovo Moto G5S Plus, HTC U11 Life, Google Pixel 2, and Motorola moto E4.
The Honor view 10 has a 16 Megapixel camera so does HTC U11 life. What makes it better is its front camera which is 13 megapixels. The result of the camera is marvelous. If you are a selfie lover then this the right phone for you!
Furthermore, if we compare the Honor View 10 with Sony Xperia XZ1 then the weight of Honor View 10 is more than Sony XperiaXZ1. Honor view 10 is 172 g (6.07 oz.) whereas, Sony XperiaZ1 is 155 g (5.47 oz.).
The honor view 10 as no drawbacks until now however the HTC U11 life has a few drawbacks such as the bezels around the display are a little thick, the loudspeaker isn’t designed for quality audio playback and the world still isn’t totally onboard with phones, like the U11 Life, that ditch the headphone jack.
Honor view 10 comes on more colors than most of the phones mentioned above. It comes in Navy Blue, Midnight Black, Beach Gold, Aurora Blue, and Charm Red. All of these are Unique and beautiful colors as we notice. They will add a distinctive touch to the phone.
Huawei honor 10 has a solid gorilla glass. No need to worry if you give it to a teenager or a child because gorilla glass is tougher than you think!

Conclusion
The Honor View 10 feels like a complete package, offering more than enough in the way of design and horsepower to make its roughly $450 price tag worth it.
Honor is gunning to undercut the flagship competition with the View 10 and in doing so, will also undercut itself, in a way, since the Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10Pro offer similar specs at a considerably higher price.

At £449 you could opt for the same-price OnePlus 5T which has more attractive software design, but it could turn out that the Honor View 10 is an intelligent choice with Android Oreo out the box, AI features and potentially superior cameras. Henceforth, in order to save money, we would recommend you to buy this phone
