Asus unveiled three phones in the new Zenfone 5 series, including the standard Zenfone 5, the Zenfone 5Z, and the Zenfone 5Q, which is also known as the Zenfone 5 Lite. Here is everything you need to know about Asus’s new phones.

Physical Appearance Is Quit Appealing:

We always like beautiful cell phones in our hands, and Asus hasn’t disappointed us here.

Asus Zenfone 5

The 6.2-inch IPS display is Full HD with aspect ratio 19:9. Asus Zenfone 5, which comes with Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 636 chipset alongside 4GB of RAM. That’s an AI chipset. It’s really eye-catching as we looked. We found it bright and sharp as well.

Asus Zenfone 5z

The Smartphone is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 845 Processor. It has a RAM of 6 GB& Adreno 630 graphics processor who ensures that the phone runs smoothly even the most memory using applications and still shows no signs of lag. There are three models of the Zenfone 5Z, a 4GB RAM ,and 64GB storage model, a 6GB RAM,and128GB storage model, and an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model.

Asus Zenfone 5 Lite

The display is still nice and bigger, but it’s 18:9 instead of 19:9, and comes in at 6.0’’ with a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, you’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Camera Is Average And Not So Striking

We did give it a 2+ rating overall, but here is what you’ll get in detail.

Asus Zenfone 5

When it comes to the camera, there’s a 12MP Sony sensor on the rear with an f/1.8 aperture. There’s also a second camera working alongside so you can take wide-angle shots easily. It’s up to 120-degrees, and it should come in useful when you want to fit more friends into your photos or you want to get a beautiful photo of a landscape. There’s also an 8MP selfie shooter on the front with an aperture of f/2.0. This camera comes with face recognition tech so you do not need to unlock your phone with a PIN or fingerprint scan.

Asus Zenfone 5z

Asus ZenFone 5Z (ZS620KL) 128GB boasts of the dual primary camera of 12 + NA megapixel and 8 mega pixels front Camera. It also supports Face Detection and high dynamic range (HDR) imaging.

On the back, you’ll still find a dual-sensor camera, but it’s slightly different. The primary sensor comes in at 16-megapixels Rear Camera with Flash, Secondary Wide-Angle Camera with a f/2.2 aperture, with the secondary sensor being a 120-degree wide-angle lens. The front-facing camera is a dual-sensor camera. Battery Life & Charging Time

This is a big concern; however, Asus hasn’t disappointed us a bit.

Asus Zenfone 5

The Asus Zenfone 5 also has a 3,300mAh battery, which is a fairly typical size, but could stand out thanks to AI Charging, which automatically adjusts the charging rate based on your charging habits, to help reduce battery wear.

Asus Zenfone 5z

The Phone comes with a large 3300mAh battery to support its 6.2-inch screen with IPS LCD display having a resolution of 1080 X 2246 at 402 PPI. The screen is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass.

Asus Zenfone 5 Lite

Annoyingly, the Zenfone 5 Lite offers a Micro USB port instead of a USB-C port. We know that this is supposed to be Asus’s budget phone, but, this is 2018 — there’s no reason to use an outdated standard like Micro USB. Through tha tport (USB C-type), you will charge the same 3,300mAh battery which is found on the other phones.
